Joining us on Monday is former wide receiver, UF athletic Hall of Famer and SEC Network analyst Chris Doering.
Chris is a Gainesville native who began his football career with the P.K. Yonge Bluewave Football before walking on with the University of Florida and the #HBC in 1991. As a top-performing wide receiver, Doering set a single-season SEC record catching 17 touchdowns during the 1995 season. His 31 touchdown catches in 1995 remain the most in Florida and SEC history.
Doering was a second-team All American and a first-team All-SEC choice in 1995. He helped lead the team to SEC Championships in 1993, 1994 and 1995.
He played in the NFL for the Indianapolis Colts, the Denver Broncos, the Washington Redskins, and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Chris is a local business owner now, running the Chris Doering Mortgage company. He is also a college football analyst for SEC Network. He is also a sponsor of the PodUp!

Our media guest on the PodUp this Monday happens to be the first female Sports Director for over the air channel in the state of Florida Alison Posey is the sports Director, weekday sports reporter & Weekend sports anchor at WTXL in Tallahassee.
Posey was born in Tallahassee to FSU alumni but raised in Gainesville under the shadow of the University of Florida. She bleeds both Orange & Blue , as well as Garnet & Gold.
Posey graduated from the University of Florida in May 2010 with a B.S. in Telecommunications. She lives, sleeps, and breathes sports. High school, JUCO, Division I, Professional. She loves finding out the stories behind the athlete: who they are, where they came from. Her passion for sports reflects on every cast she writes, every highlight she reads, and every story she tells.
Posey grew up an athlete, playing basketball & softball in high school, and earned a softball scholarship to St. Johns River Community College out of high school. There, she suited up at the 2nd base for 2 years, earning her AA & earning Academic All-American status. She then continued her education at the University of Florida, where she played for UF’s Club Softball team. Alison won an NCSA World Series title with the team in 2010.
Covering sports for Alison isn’t just a job: it’s a passion. As a former collegiate athlete, Alison understands what it takes to be an athlete, and that drive and dedication reflect on the way she does her job.
From covering collegiate National Champions to High School State Champions to the littlest of athletes winning the baseball World Series, Alison demonstrates the same attention to any athlete- big or small.
