Summary

Today, Shane welcomed The University of Arizona Wildcats football head coach Jedd Fisch.
Fisch was previously the quarterback coach for the New England Patriots 🌟 and an assistant offensive coordinator and senior offensive assistant for the Los Angeles Rams 🐏

Fisch began his coaching climb in Gainesville, first as a defensive coordinator for the P.K. Yonge Bluewave Football 🏈 team. Fisch called and left notes on Coach Steve Spurrier’s car until he was offered a Graduate Assistant position with the Florida Gators Football team in 1999 🐊 You definitely don’t want to miss out on Fisch’s HBC story either!

DID YOU KNOW?
Steve Spurrier’s son, Scotty Spurrier, was hired by Jedd Fisch to be the Special Teams Analyst for The University of Arizona football team.

Jedd Fisch’s Bio

Other stops along Fisch’s career include UCLA Football, Michigan Football, and 7 NFL teams, in addition to the Patriots and Rams.

On December 23, 2020, despite having no experience as a head coach, Fisch was hired as the 32nd head coach at the University of Arizona, possibly as one of only a handful to have never played football.

Fisch grew up in Livingston, New Jersey and attended Hanover Park High School in nearby East Hanover Township. Though he did not play football, Fisch was an all-state tennis player during his high school years.

Fisch graduated from the University of Florida in 1998 with a degree in criminology. He attended Florida almost solely for the opportunity to someday work for the HBC, where his college roommate was Philadelphia Eagles general manager Howie Roseman.
